Instead companies are advised to give priority to legal standards, yet if no national legal framework is available, the recommendations provided in this Toolkit can be used.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even though this Toolkit is intended to help companies to achieve better management of chemicals, it also serves as a practical mean for companies to implement Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.saicm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SAICM<\/a>) goals and also shares the goals of the global chemical conventions known as\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/chm.pops.int\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stockholm<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.basel.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Basel<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pic.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rotterdam<\/a>.
